Description
The Halcyon Weighted Single Tank Adapter (STA) provides a stable mounting platform for single-tank diving on a Halcyon backplate and wing system, adding 3.42 kg / 7.55 lb of ballast while eliminating the need for additional weight pockets. The marine-grade stainless steel channel bolts to the backplate, secures the cylinder with two tank straps, and positions the weight along the diver’s centerline for balanced trim and a streamlined profile in the water.
A plastic-coated 2.35 kg / 5.2 lb weight is easily removed for travel or when less ballast is required, and the same removable weight is offered as part of Halcyon BC systems. With a balanced center of gravity, the weighted STA improves in-water positioning for single-cylinder divers while reducing clutter on the harness.
